Manhunt underway after tourist killed in New Zealand

An Australian tourist has been shot dead in New Zealand.

Police say they've launched a manhunt to find the killer.

The 33-year-old victim was found dead in a van in a coastal town on the North Island.

A Canadian woman who had been traveling with managed to escape from the van.

The attacker is believed to have driven off in the van.
