RRR's 'Naatu Naatu' set to be performed at Oscars 2023

The "Naatu Naatu" song from Indian blockbuster movie "RRR", which has been nominated for the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards, is set to be performed during the star-studded gala. 

The Oscars performance will be led by Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

Other musical performances will include This Is a Life by David Byrne, Stephanie Hsu, and Son Lux, the Oscar-nominated song from Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Rihanna's Lift Me Up" from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, among others.

Naatu Naatu, composed by M.M. Keeravaani and penned by Chandrabose, has already won the award for Best Original Song at the 2023 Golden Globes, beating out popular tunes by Rihanna, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.

The other nominees in the Best Original Song category include Lady Gaga's Hold My Hand from Top Gun: Maverick, but Naatu Naatu has proven to be a strong contender, winning fans around the world.

This year's Oscars are led by Everything Everywhere All at Once with 11 nominations, followed by All Quiet on the Western Front and The Banshees of Inisherin with nine each, Elvis with eight, The Fabelmans with seven, Tár and Top Gun: Maverick with six each, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever with five.

The 95th Academy Awards ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and will be broadcast live on ABC at 8:00 pm ET from the Dolby Theatre on March 12.

Showrunners Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner, along with executive producer Molly McNearney, are gearing up for what promises to be an unforgettable night in Hollywood.
