The 'Game of Thrones' cast received a standing ovation at the 2019 Emmys as they bid farewell to their epic drama.
Alfie Allen, Gwendoline Christie, Emilia Clarke, Peter Dinklage, Kit Harington, Lena Headey, Sophie Turner, Carice van Houten, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Maisie Williams took to the stage on Sunday night.
"As much as we wish the show would have gone on forever our time had come," said Williams. "Now we have a chance to thank all of those who watched."
"It’s amazing how the entire last season was for us," added Turner.
Game of Thrones, despite receiving criticism for dividing fans in its final season, won the fourth Emmy for best drama series. It had a record 32 nominations this year, and finished with 12 awards overall for its final season.
Peter Dinklage won his fourth best supporting actor statuette for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister.
But it was Amazon's Fleabag that stole the show, taking home four awards, including those for best actress in a comedy, directing and best comedy series.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge took the trophy for best comedy actress, beating Veep actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus as well as Rachel Brosnahan for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
"This is just getting ridiculous!" she said, while also winning an Emmy for comedy writing.
"I'd like to say, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, that the reason I do it, is this," Waller-Bridge joked as she gestured toward her award.
