UAE and Israel discuss cooperation in energy sector

The UAE and Israel have held talks on strengthening cooperation in the energy sector.

The virtual meeting was held between the UAE's Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, and his Israeli counterpart Yuval Steinitz.

They discussed investment opportunities in oil and gas, as well as the adoption of green energy and advanced technologies.

During the meeting, Al Mazrouei also presented the UAE Energy Strategy 2050, which is the country’s first unified energy plan that aims to maintain a balance between production and consumption, while meeting global environmental commitments.
