Dubai International Airport (DXB) is gearing up for the summer holiday rush when passenger numbers are expected to reach 16 million over the peak months of July and August.

Throughout the busy period, staff levels will be increased at different touchpoints to ensure smooth proceedings.

The Airport Operations Control Centre will also use advanced monitoring systems to keep an eye on the flow of travellers and their bags.

Passengers have been advised to reach the airport early and to take advantage of the online check-in and smart gate services.

While at the airport, customers can look forward to a wide variety of activities, including live concerts as part of the musicDXB programme.
