Dubai and Abu Dhabi stock exchanges will change its trading week to Monday-Friday, from January 3, in line with the government's new work system.

The Dubai Financial Market's (DFM) trading session will run for five hours between 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) will also follow the same timings.

"The new trading window will harmonise DFM’s operations with international financial markets, a factor that will enhance its competitiveness regionally and globally," the DFM said.
