The total value of goods and services involved in these complaints was AED 26.3 million.

The Abu Dhabi Registration and Licensing Authority (ADRA) also carried out over 251,000 field visits last year to ensure businesses comply with regulations.

These inspections led to 7,951 warnings, while 3,081 fines were issued, along with 53 closure orders.

The total value of non-compliant goods and services was estimated at AED 40.8 million.

Additionally, awareness campaigns saw a 45 per cent increase, rising to 5,397 in 2024, reflecting ADRA's commitment to educating the business community about rules and regulations.
