Two weeks of Breakfast done and dusted! CB & GB back to wake you up on Sunday at 6. I have to say, it has been fun. Just being on the radio with Dan has been great and it has been a good experience for us both to do it. Hopefully we didn’t mess it up too much. We did sing ’Stop’ by the Spice Girls this morning which should have been enough for anyone to want CB & GB back quicker than we could sing ‘Stop right now, thank you very much…’. Tom & Dan’s Big Bus Tour is tomorrow! Looking forward to it. Have never done it, and everyone who won a seat on the bus seems genuinely excited about it. It is happening at 2pm, so a nice lay in will be nice! I guarantee I will forget to switch the alarm off and will be woken up at 4am. Still, at least that will save me from a nightmare revolving around some kind of singing along with the Spice Girls on the radio. Oh, no, that did happen didn’t it…uhmm…yeah, you had to be there.

Earlier this week Dan and I on air decided that we would try and get a Big Bus Company bus to take us two and a load of listeners around Dubai for a few hours. We have called it ‘Tom & Dan’s Big Bus Tour’. And we are set for Friday at 2. A bus to ourselves, 60 winners, me and Dan and some games. Plus all the sights. It will be loads of fun. Listen again in the morning to get on the bus!
Because of Breakfast these last couple of weeks, my evenings have been a very laid back affair by the way. Mostly TV, food and then sleep. RocknRoll right? I wanted to go to the nice big party at the Atlantis last night after receiving an invite from The Dubai World Championship Golf tournament, but said no. Half of me thought, ‘oh you only live once, go and have a good night and you will be fine’, the other half said ‘no, you need to be wide awake and alert in the morning’. I opted for the more sensible option. Which was just as well as I have now been up for about 14 hours and find myself in a big bus depot looking at double decker buses. Again, RocknRoll.
