RTA partners with Uber to deploy 14,000 cars

More than 14,000 vehicles will be available through Uber’s online booking services after it signed an agreement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).

That’s according to the RTA, which says they will include more than 9,800 taxis and 4,700 limousines.

The agreement will also allow both entities to research the potential of more economic transportation solutions in the city.

Anthony Khoury, Regional Director of Uber Middle East, explains what’s planned.
