Pssst… there goes Dan Marsh. Who’s he? OMG, don’t you know anything, he’s like the coolest, presenter on Dubai 92. He’s been in the biz longer than most boy bands stay together. For real? Yeah, and because of his growing fan-base he has appeared on Dubai One TV with Evening Session colleague and BFF, Tom Bushell as music ‘experts’. The two also received mention in the 2009 Ahlan Hot 100 – a great honor (insert catcall). Now that’s HOT. Did you also know that Dan and Orlando Bloom are both from Canterbury, England? No way! Way! But only Dan has had a successful career in radio since 1999, after a drive-by attempt with an English Literature degree. In Dubai, Marsh has DJ-ed at the Time Out festival, turning discs with some of the legendary greats in the desert and on the beach. He made it to the DJ A-list by warming up for Fatboy Slim. His highlights in Dubai run longer than the length of Sheikh Zayed Road. He will always remember his dream lunch with Celine Dion and the time he ordered “MJ is Innocent” badges. Since the untimely passing of MJ, Dan has been overheard saying, “My Heart Will Go On”. Let’s hear it for a sensitive soul with a genius-like sensibility when it comes to music.
