CATBOY

Thanks to Catboy, the popular host of the Breakfast Show on Dubai 92, morning commutes to the cubicle are gut-busters. His early years in Sheffield, Great Britain were used in developing his sense of humor and practicing to be the next cat whisperer. The latter failed, the former won him the Sony Radio Award, New York Radio Award, Middle East Radio Personality of the Year Award, Dubai’s Best Hair 2009 Award, Ahlan Hot100 2007/08/09, and Time Out Best Radio Station of the Year 2009. And by the looks of it, he’s just turning up the volume. If the radio presenting gig did not pan out, you would have found Catboy adding records to his existing Multiple World Record Holder status (perhaps being the champ in the Most Sheep Shorn in 8 hours category). His other great achievements beside being one of Dubai’s most popular host, is being unbeatable at most games, his Joni Mitchell-like guitar playing abilities and his righteous throwing arm, thanks to his first job of carrying hot potatoes. Catboy has a bit of an obsessive-compulsive personality. He is obsessed by the thought that animals can read his mind and has a compulsive drive for perfection, resulting in his undeniable originality and creativity. But the most riveting fact about Catboy (aside from being schoolmates with Jarvis Cocker) is that… wait for it… wait for it… he has no affinity to fish.
