Ellie Goulding is an English singer songwriter.

She rose to fame after topping the BBC Sound of 2010 poll and winning the Critics Choice Award at the 2010 BRIT Awards, making her the only artist to achieve both in the same year.

She learned how to play the guitar and write her own music at the age of fifteen.

Her debut album, Lights was released on March 1st 2010.
