Here's where UAE rulers will offer Eid Al Fitr prayers

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will perform Eid Al Fitr prayers at Zabeel Mosque and receive well-wishers at the Zabeel Majlis afterward.

Meanwhile, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, will offer prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, along with a number of Sheikhs, senior officials and worshippers.

He will receive well-wishers on the first day of Eid at Abu Dhabi’s Mushrif Palace.

The month of Shawwal begins on the first day of Eid, which is expected to be announced by the UAE’s moon-sighting committee on Thursday night.

Shawwal 1 will either fall on Friday, June 15, or Saturday, June 16, depending on the sighting of the crescent moon.
