Dubai mosque iftars to be inspected
Authorities in Dubai are taking steps to ensure that food served for iftaar at mosques is fit for consumption.
Places of worship across the emirate cater to large amounts of people during Ramadan at the time of breaking the fast.
The number of inspections at restaurants and tents that will be serving food this Ramadan have also been increased.
Sultan Ali Al Tahir, Head of Food Inspection at Dubai Municipality, explains how they’re making sure that meals given out at mosques are clean and safe to eat.
