Welcome to the second Mini Concert Mondays at Midday.

Over the last few years the concert scene in the UAE has improved tenfold and there have been some epic gigs.
Top three for me are: Coldplay, Justin Timberlake and The Killers, all live at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

First up:
Coldplay live in Abu Dhabi on March 28th, 2009.
This concert was quite simply magnificent.
Maybe it was the fact that we were experiencing a freak end of March storm that night, with heavy rain, thunder and incredible lightening or that the band was on fire but this has made it into the top 10 gigs that I’ve seen so far.
The song that I picked for you on the radio was Fix you.
I have added the video for you to watch further down the blog. I included 4 videos from the night so that you can feel like you were there too, just in case you missed it.

Next up we have Justin Timberlake, live at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi in Dec, 2007.
I went there liking his music. I returned a Justin Timberlake fanatic.
So did most people, I think.
The man can sing, play a bunch of instruments and dance like nothing else.
He is magnetic to watch and his show was the final night of his FutureSex/LoveShow tour and it was incredible.
