Barasti Big Deal – Terms and Conditions
The following rules together with the general and competition terms and conditions apply to Barasti Big Deal competition which will run from Sunday 12th March to Saturday 15 April 2017. The “Radio Station” is DUBAI 92 and the Airline is Virgin Atlantic.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.
1.1 Contestants must be 21 years of age or over to enter.
1.2 Barasti Big Deal T-Shirt holders must hold a valid passport and should be eligible to enter Mexico.
1.3 Barasti Big Deal T-Shirt holder’s visa costs are for each individuals account and the responsibility of applying for the visa will also be for each individual
1.4 The Barasti Big Deal T-Shirt is nontransferable and neither are any of the applicable prizes
1.5 The Winner of the Barasti Big Deal T-Shirt must be willing to use their photos/ name etc on Barasti website and any other related promotional items
You must be able to travel to Cancun, Mexico from 3 May- 11 May, 2017.
1.6 If you don’t have a visa, you must apply now and pay for all visas costs yourself
1.7 All employees and family members of the promoter and/or sponsors are not allowed to enter into the competition.
2.1 All 52 Barasti Big Deal T-shirt holders will be required to compete in Barasti Big Deal game, commencing 15 April, 2017 in Barasti
2.2 Trip to Cancun, Mexico From May 3 –May 11, 2017 – As this is a game of chance and T-shirt holders will be eliminated via the Big Deal game
2.2.Please note that Big Deal T-shirt holders are not guaranteed to travel.
2.3 The Winner of The Barasti Big Deal will also Eat & Drink for free at Barasti for 1 year – open to the winner only. This prize is subject to terms and conditions and is not transferable.
4.0 We reserve the right to review and revise our terms and conditions without giving prior notice and by participating in the competition subsequent to any revision of our terms and conditions; you agree to be bound by such changes.
By accessing and using this Website you undertake to be at least 18 years of age and have the right and capacity to access this Website.
Use of the Company’s Website

Contributions to the Website
By sharing any contribution (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) with the Website you undertake that you have cleared these contributions from any third party rights including copyrights, trade mark rights, patents, or any other proprietary rights which may be vested in such contributions. You also undertake that you have taken permission and approval from any individuals who may have a right or interest in the contributions you are sharing on the Website. You also understand that this Website and all the contributions shared on it are not monitored by the Company, and thus any contribution shared on the Website is the sole responsibility of the user sharing such contribution.
Copyright in your contribution will remain with you. You can continue to use the material in any way including allowing others to use it.
You hereby undertake that your contribution is your own original work, is not defamatory or obscene and does not infringe any laws or regulations of the United Arab Emirates, cultural principles or any religious and political views. You further undertake that you have the right to share this contribution on the Website, and that you have the consent of anyone who is identifiable in your contribution or the consent of their parent/guardian if they are under 18 years of age.
The Company may need to share your details and contact information with the police or any other governmental authority which may request such details in the event that your contribution has resulted in a criminal act. The Company shall disclose this information in such a case or in any other case whereby a violation of these rules has been committed by you. If you do not want to grant the Company the permission to disclose your details, please do not submit or share your contribution to or with the Website.
By entering the Website and sharing your contribution, you undertake that your contribution is in no way defamatory, insulting, or culturally or religiously unacceptable. You further undertake that the contribution contains no violation of political codes, cultural codes or any moral or religious norms. The contribution shall also be free of any infringements of individuals’ privacy rights, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights.
By accessing the Website, you indemnify the Company from any damage, cost, expense, liability, violation, legal proceedings or third party damage resulting from your access or use of the Website or your sharing of any material or contribution on the Website. You assume full responsibility for all your actions and all content and contributions shared by you on the Website. The Company and any third party shall have full recourse against you for any public rights, moral rights, or criminal charges which resulted from your sharing of contribution on the Website.
You agree to use the online communities and blogs provided by the Company (including message boards) in accordance with the following rules. These rules apply across all sites and blogs owned and operated by the Company.
i) About your posts:
Contributions must be civil and tasteful.
No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: Contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
No unlawful or objectionable content: Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material and content is not acceptable.
Be patient: Users of all ages and abilities may be taking part in the relevant community.
No spamming or off-topic material: The submission of the same or very similar contributions numerous times is not allowed. Please do not re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
No advertising or promoting.
No spoilers: Material which contains plot developments which have not been transmitted on UAE television will be deleted unless submitted in a designated ‘spoilers’ area or marked as a ‘spoiler’.
Contributions containing languages other than Arabic and English may be removed.
No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.
Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not If you persist in doing this, action may be taken against your account.
(ii) Your account:
If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting a community or hindering other users’s use of the Website, action may be taken against all of your accounts.
All accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that moderation emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else’s email address, or with temporary email addresses may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address.
The Company reserves the right to close accounts and disclose personal information of a user to the authorities if any user is seen to be using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple accounts, or if a non UAE user pretends to be a UAE user, or disrupts any of our services in any way.
We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example: telephone number, postal address, home address or email address or any other details that would allow you to be personally identified) in any community.
(iv) Legal requirements:
You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in online communities. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.
Contributing material to the online community with the intention of committing or promoting an illegal act is strictly prohibited.
You agree to submit to or share with the online communities only contributions which are your own original work. You must not violate, plagiarize, or infringe the rights of the Company, its subsidiaries or any third parties including copyright, trade mark, trade secrets, privacy, and publicity, personal or proprietary rights.
(v) If you are under 18:
Please get a parent’s or guardian’s permission before taking part in any community.
Never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example, school, telephone number, your full name, home address or email address).
(vi) If you breach these community rules:
If you fail to abide by these community rules when taking part in an online community, you will be sent an email which informs you why your contribution has been refused or edited. This email will also include a warning that continuing to break the rules may result in action being taken against your account or accounts. Failure to abide by these rules may also result in criminal action being taken against you.
If you submit or share offensive or inappropriate content to or with any community or anywhere else on the Website or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on the Website or its associated sites and blogs, and the Company considers such behaviour to be serious and/or repeated, the Company may then use whatever information that is available to it about you to stop any further such infringements. This may include informing relevant third parties such as your employer, school, authority or email provider about the infringement(s).
The Company reserves the right to delete any contribution, or take action against any account, at any time, for any reason.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The majority of content posted in the Website communities is created by members of the public. The views expressed are theirs and do not in any way represent those of the Company. The Company is not responsible for any content posted by members of the public on the Website or for the availability or content of any third party sites that are accessible through the Website. Any links to third party websites do not amount to any endorsement of such websites by the Company and any use of such websites by you is at your own risk.
